A good quality padding under your rug is essential for rug preservation. Pads stabilize the rug, minimize friction between the floor and rug, provide breathing space beneath the rug, and add to sound absorption. The best pads are made of jute thinly coated with rubber on both sides. Avoid any pad that is too soft or thick as they cause the foundation of the rug to be stretched when weigh is placed on the rug.

How to clean wine spill from area rug or carpet?

Great to enjoy your wine. What about while you are dancing, you just couldn't hold it and pour your wine onto your lovely area rug?

Don't panic ! & Don't worry!

How do I clean wine spill from my area rug or carpet?

Deal the spill immediately. Get a spoon - paper towel - water - empty cup.

• Step1 - Using the spoon, scoop the wine or whatever is the liquid spill is. Do it to the center, try not to spread the spill area. Try to scoop the area from the outer edges towards the center of the spill.
• Step2 - Dilute the spill with water. Pour a little water onto the spill and scoop the liquid again.
• Step3 - Gently blot the area with a paper towel until the all moisture is removed. Do not spread it. And Do not Rub, again Do not Rub!
• Step4 - If needed pour water again and scoop the excess liquid with the spoon and remove the moisture with paper towel.
